Decided to write a little bit about me if you're curious to know more about the girl behind this blog. :> I decided to start this because of my love for make up (obviously) and also because I realized my friends kept asking me for tips, or recommendations. When I voiced an uncertain opinion about this potential blog this year, quite a few lovely friends gave me overwhelming encouragement which kicked the ass of the gudetama in me and made me sit down and do this. You guys know who you are <3

I'm not a makeup artist, I don't have formal training in make up, but I've been experimenting a ton over a decade and have watched probably hours of Youtube videos on beauty. Just take it that I was diligently doing my webcasts...HAHA just joking. I mean you should take my opinions with a pinch of salt; although I do my best to be as honest and accurate as I can, remember that make up is different for everyone depending on your skin type, skin tone and preferences.

Anyway, I'm just your average young adult in the lion city (Singapore) that somehow manages to overdress more often than not (hence the blog name). This blog is about my thoughts on all knickknacks related to beauty, and can range from the obscure and dubious to the occasional high end as much as my wallet and sales may allow. I asked for opinions on Insta regarding which post I should do first, and lips came out top! In this post I'll be showing you my top 8 favourite lipsticks. They're not all  the  best lipsticks of all time or my holy grails, but they're my favourites for different reasons, such as texture, colour and longevity. My lipsticks can be separated into my 2 favourite undertones as you'll see, peachy and mauve.  In case you didn't know, MLBB (my lips but better) lipsticks are usually very neutral - they can have very different underlying tones and colours, but are 1 or 2 tones darker than your natural lip/skin colour.  As such, the lipsticks in this post may not be your  mlbb colours, they might be too dark or too light depending on your skintone. BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX ANTI-FATIGUE FOUNDATION - Review

Hey there! Sorry for the little hiatus, I just came back from a trip, plus I was having a slight mental block deciding what to write for the next post. :( Well, today I'll be doing a review on the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation.  There are already a ton of reviews on YouTube and blogs, being a popular favourite amongst many. However, I haven't watched too many reviews on it for Asian skin or for use in a warm and humid country like ours, so hopefully this post will provide you with more information. NAKED HEAT PALETTE - swatches & reviews

Say hello to one of the most talked about beauty item in the market right now, and also my most recent makeup purchase. At $83 for 12 shades and  a double ended makeup brush, it is quite reasonably priced, but will also cause the average girl's wallet (like mine ahem) to experience some weight loss, ouch . However, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase, and I do think that if you only could get one Naked palette, this should be the one! The MUA said that these colours were meant to look like the colours of a flame and a burnt matchstick (think burnt red), which are one of my favourite shades for an eye look, so I snatched this up really quickly. (p.s let's play a game, take a shot of whatever you're drinking each time you read the word 'palette' in this post, HAHA good luck) The packaging  The Naked Heat palette feels so much sturdier in the hand and looks more expensive than the other Naked palettes, but it definitely isn't too heavy to bring
